You can spot a highly motivated individual a mile away. They appear unflappable in the face of adversity, with more vitality than a pink rabbit with a drum... But what are the characteristics that enable them to stay that way?

1. Goal

People who are highly driven can grasp and absorb the larger picture. They understand how their labor fits into the bigger picture and, as a result, do not begin to feel as though the little parts of the trip are unimportant.

2. Optimism

Motivated people acquire energy to go about their job towards the pleasant end they envisage when they have a positive picture of what may be in the future.

3. Self-Esteem

It's difficult to achieve anything when you don't believe you can. Motivated people, on the other hand, are aware of their own abilities and have faith in themselves.

4. Bravery

Motivated people like taking on new tasks and are not afraid to take risks. They aren't afraid to take risks, make errors, and get dirty, much like the instructor on the Magic School Bus.

5. Vitality

Motivated people have the necessary energy—mental, physical, or emotional—to carry out their strategy and fight the good fight.

6. Persistence

People with strong levels of motivation do not just quit up when things get difficult. They hunker down and cling to their firearms.

7. Point of view

People who are highly motivated do not get tangled up in trivial matters. They understand how to sort through life's plethora of problems and dismiss the minor details that could derail them.

8. Reflective

When you lose, don't lose the lesson, as the old adage says, and motivated people understand this. While boldness, energy, and tenacity are among of their best attributes, that doesn't mean they make bad decisions. Motivated individuals reflect on the process and go forward with intelligence and plan.

9. Humility

Motivated people are also aware of their own talents and weaknesses. As competing egos collide with their quest, an arrogant individual will swiftly run up against a wall. A humble individual, on the other hand, will have an easier time carrying out their strategy, absorbing input, and modifying course as needed. They're not offended—their sights are set on the prize, and they'll take any assistance they can get to get there.

10. Rejoicing

Motivated people enjoy and celebrate achievement. It's not about shoving it in the faces of others, but about appreciating the hard work that has already been done and looking forward to a new adventure.
